Meet Laurie, our Director of Christian Education. As a member of this congregation and a young mother, herself, Laurie brings experience, insight and her love of young people to the organization of our Sunday School Program.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
2nd - 5th Sundays from 10:15 to 11:10 From September through May our Children's Sunday School meets on the 2nd through 5th Sundays of the month. Children age 4 through 6th grade are invited to begin the worship hour with their parents (or friends) in the sanctuary. Following the Youth sermon (about 10:15) children will be escorted to the fellowship hall for lessons that teach the faith of God and the teachings of Jesus. They will be finished with Sunday School by 11:00 or shortly after can join parents for a time of refreshment and fellowship. Juice and cookies are a hit with our youngsters!
On the first Sunday of the month we hope that children can be present in worship to share with us the Lord's Supper that is served to all. There will be activity bags for children to help them be engaged during the worship hour. We celebrate the presence of little people in our worship. Even wiggly little ones come to know that they are part of the community of faith and a part of the family of God!
At many points through the year our Sunday School class will enjoy different parties, fun events, field trips and the opportunity to participate in presenting aspects of worship to the larger congregation. Especially popular is the Christmas program each December.
Vacation Bible School is an annual summer event that is offered for the children in our congregation and our neighborhood. We all enjoy the fun and fellowship that this week of lessons offers.
ADULT EDUCATION
Adult Sunday School meets at 11:00 in the Green Room of our church. The lesson plan is decided by participants, with no preparation needed. All are welcome to come and explore our Bible and the Faith of Jesus Christ.

- Our Book Group reads and discusses literature on Thursday evenings at 6:00.
